Stroke Association : London Art Show at The Coninbsby Gallery 19 - 21 July 2017

The Coningsby Gallery, Fitrovia, 30 Tottenham Street, London, W1.

'Stroke Association is excited to announce the premiere of its London Art Show at The Coningsby Gallery in London’s Fitzrovia. '

Stroke Association has worked closely with The Coningsby Gallery and 28 artists this year to showcase pieces from famous names including Eileen Cooper, Neil Pittaway and Martin Yeoman, along with some very inspiring and talented stroke survivors.

There will also be the opportunity to see and potentially buy an original signed Watchmen drawing by Dave Gibbons- a chance that you do not want to miss out on.

In total, 44 artworks shown will be for sale and a proportion of the proceeds for each piece will be donated to the Stroke Association. The proceeds will help us to provide support services for 1.2 million stroke survivors living in the UK, as well as to help fund our research and publications.

Matt Durrant, the curator of the event said ‘Stroke Association is really excited to be working so closely with The Coningsby Gallery on the event this year. Expect lots of purple everywhere and immense talent, the show is thoroughly deserving of a visit’.

There will also be a performance piece entitled ‘STROKE’ shown by Judy Gordon, a stroke survivor who has been heavily involved in the West End, after training as a Ballerina. The show is open to members of the public from Wednesday 19 July- Friday 21 July 09.30am- 5.30pm.
