A continuing project on memory & place.
Historical & archival references are evident.
A residency at Portsmouth Grammar School in 2008 aided this path my practice continues to travel along.
Further residencies in studios & places that hold heavy reference are important.

Inviting the viewer into an esoteric site – searching time.
A secret portal creating a unique plane.
Exploring notions of perception, reality, memory & yearning.
Mapping the photographed information with stitching to
create an unintentional concept on the reverse of the piece.
Routeing this information & pioneering the mark-making
to recollect & communicate.
